About the Food and Beverage Permit
After much soul searching and number crunching, the Aut-O-Rama Twin Drive-In has decided to begin restrictions on "Outside Food And Beverage." We have tried to stress as much as possible how much the success and continued operation of this drive-in depends on our concession sales. A majority of the money we take in at the box-office goes to the film companies.
For those people who still desire to bring in food and beverages from outside the theatre, you must purchase a "Outside Food and Beverage Permit" (O.F.A.B) at the box office. Cost of the Outside Food and Beverage Permit" (O.F.A.B) $5.00 per car. It is valid for one visit only.

Mike Sangiacomo will be there with one of the artists “Derf” to sign copies of
his graphic novel:
“Tales of the Starlight Drive-In”

TALES OF THE
STARLIGHT DRIVE-IN, Plain Dealer reporter Michael San Giacomo's affectionate
look at the American drive-in theater, will be released on June 4 from Image
Comics.
The book contains 32 stories that take place in a mythical drive-in theater over
a 53-year-old, reflecting the rise, decline and (hopefully) rise again of the
drive-in. The stories are as varied as the films playing in the drive-ins,
stories of love, crime, adventure, humor, politics and even a disaster story
fill the graphic novel. Each story can be read and enjoyed separately, but when
read together form a novel with an ending and an epilogue (a second ending) that
no one will see coming.
San Giacomo wrote 31 of the 32 stories in the book, which were illustrated by 23
artists from as far away as the Philippines and as close as Cleveland. One local
artist, DERF, whose bizarre thinking and style is truly unique, wrote and drew
his own story.
